Continuous improvement Lean / TOC / Six Sigma

Lean and Continuous Improvement are seen as the Alpha and Omega of performance for 2 main reasons

  • Structured and structuring toolboxes to secure cause analysis, action plan (Single Minute Exchange of Dies – SMED, 5S or Kaizen.
  • A cultural component (concern for efficiency: the hunt for waste) which, if not appropriated by operational staff and management, will lead to “Lean for show” and under no circumstances to the expected creation of additional value.

In view of this, any implementation of a “Lean” type plan must ensure that the “People – Cultures – Objectives” are coherent, in order to achieve the objectives set.
